Action action! The Texas Legislature has $21B in excess funds and isn't investing it in our educational needs. The Texas governor has called a Special Session to discuss critical education legislation - it begins Monday afternoon. Our representatives - yes even in Dallas - need to hear from us urgently. See detailed information in the below flyers.

To find contact information for your State Representatives, go to https://wrm.capitol.texas.gov/home. (You do not need to contact Federal Senators & Congress members). When you call or email, you can say something as simple as:

Hi, this is <name> and my address is <address>. It is critical that Texas fund public education & stop discussing vouchers for private school. Private schools don't need subsidies. Fund the $14B public school funding needed now.

The Special Session starts Monday. Please make contact ASAP!
